Our beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Brian’s House, age 87. Victor was born June 2, 1930 in Bay City to the late Leon and Martha (Jeske) Latocki. He married Charlotte Ann Weber on May 28, 1952 and she predeceased him on March 11, 2012. Victor was a veteran and served his country proudly with the US Marine Corps. After his discharge from the military he began working with his brother who owned Al’s Meat Market for many years. He later retired from Bay City Chevrolet after 25 years of dedicated service. Victor was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish-St. Stanislaus Church and enjoyed working the church bingos at Pulaski Hall. He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed watching golf, the Detroit Lions and Tigers.
Surviving children are: Vickie (Michael) Kowalski, Bruce Latocki, Valerie (Larry) Parks, Pamela Latocki and Christopher (Laura) Latocki, grandchildren: Breanne Patton, Michael (Shelby) Latocki, Vanessa (Ryan) Arnold, Taylor and Evan Parks, Chloe Linh Latocki and Jayden (Autumn) Latocki, six great grandchildren: Lance, Hunter, Acela, Jack, Trinity and Kira, one brother Chester (Pauline) Latocki, one sister in-law Jeanne Rezler, many nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish-St. Stanislaus Church, 1503 Kosciuszko Ave., Bay City, MI 48708. Friends may call at the Ambrose Funeral Home on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 pm and at church on Saturday after 9:00 am. Military Honors, under the auspices of the Bay County Veterans Council for will be held Friday at 2:30 pm at the funeral home, followed later by a Parish Vigil Service for Victor at 7:00 pm.
