Williams, Niona L. “Bubbles”

Mount Pleasant, Michigan formally of Gaylord, Michigan

Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt passed away peacefully with her family by her side in the afternoon hours of Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the McLaren Bay Regional Hospital in Bay City, Michigan. Age 73 years. Bubbles was born on March 3, 1946 to the late Tilden and Margaret (Holman) Evans in Shelbyville, Indiana. After 25 years of service, Bubbles retired as the Assistant Manager at Walmart. She worked for various Walmart stores in Northern, Michigan before her retirement. Over the years she became very involved with the Children’s Miracle Network. Bubbles spent the majority of her time volunteering with fundraisers for the charity. Some of her other hobbies included; maintaining her flowers around her yard at home, hand making chocolate candies during the holidays, making crafts, gambling at the casino with her friends, and spending time with her family, grandchildren, and friends.

Left to cherish her memories are her two children, Julie Williams of Mount Pleasant, Michigan and Todd (Tricia) Williams of Oakland, Michigan; three grandchildren, Gabriel Williams, Nathan Williams, and Isabel Williams; fur babies, Jazzy and Sugar; siblings, Ramona Viviano, David (Mary) Evans, Willa (Phillip) Sturdevant, Earl (Joyce) Evans, and Athol (Sabrina) Evans. After many years of separation, Bubbles is finally reunited with her parents, Tilden and Margaret (Holman) Evans; and her brother-in-law, Vince Viviano.

At the request of Bubbles and her family, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be planned for an upcoming day in the summer season. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the “Wishes of the Family” or “Children’s Miracle Network”. www.ambrosefuneralchapel.com
