Mary Ann Knapp
Bay City, Michigan
Mrs. Knapp passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Brian’s House, age 85. Mary Ann was born September 18, 1933 in Clare, Michigan to the late Adam and Mary (Wilk) Bukowski. She married Cherry E. Knapp on June 26, 1954 and he predeceased her on December 12, 2016. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish-St. Stanislaus Church. She enjoyed going to the senior dinners with her husband Cherry, playing bingo and spending time with her family.
Surviving are three children: Cheryl Knapp, Steve Knapp and Al Knapp, five grandchildren: Tony and Joe Knapp, Stephanie Knapp and Regina and Matthew Hewitt and seven great grandchildren: Janessa, Kayla, Isaac, Joe, Esperenza, Brylee and Jackson. Mary Ann was predeceased by two daughters, Kathy Hewitt and Regina Knapp, one grandson Joe Knapp and her siblings: Leonard (Marlene), Casimier, Henry (Fern), Adam, John and Tony (Harriet) Bukowski and Dorothy (Ed) Torka, Vera Bukowski and Josephine (Don) Beard.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, January 7, 2019 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish-St. Stanislaus Church, 1503 Kosciuszko Ave., Bay City, MI 48708. Fr. Dale Orlik will celebrate Mass and interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Friends and family will gather at the church on Monday from 9:00 am until the time of Mass.
