     Bonnie passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Bay Shores Nursing Care Center, age 86.  She was born August 8, 1930 in Bay City to the late Howard and Lilia (Timlick) Burley.  Bonnie was an in home aide for more than 30 years and had a passion for taking care of others and her family.  She was a former member of Fremont Avenue United Methodist Church and currently with her step-son, Pastor Tom Dinan’s church Lighthouse Family Worship Center.

     Surviving are two sons, Michael (Vi) Martin and Rick (Peggy) Davis, two step-children, Kathy (Lynn) Dinan-Conway and Pastor Tom (Jeanette) Dinan, 16 grandchildren, Lisa (Bryan) Beaver, Michael (Janice) Martin, Melinda (Chris) Martin-Felver, Rick (Narryn) Davis, Randy (Sarah) Davis, Susanne Davis and her friend Brandon, Rob (Tifani) Davis, Brandon and Jered Conway, Wesley, Krystal, Amanda, Ashley, Shawn, Mitch, and Zach Dinan; 20 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, one sister Audrey (Sal) Zarasua, many special nieces, nephews and cousins.  Bonnie was predeceased by a son Dale “Tombo” Martin, three brothers: Thomas Davis, Dale “Bud” and Wally Burley, two sisters, Peggy Green and Fern Shaw, one sister in-law Shirley Burley, three brothers in-law, Dan Green, Gene Shaw and Joe Zarasua and lifelong friend Ruth Shurkey.

     The Funeral Service for Bonnie will be held Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Lighthouse Family Worship Center, 300 N. Wenona Street, Bay City, MI 48706.  Bonnie’s step-son Pastor Tom Dinan will officiate and private inurnment will be in Floral Gardens Cemetery.  Friends may call at the church on Saturday March 31, 2018 from 12:00 pm until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression sympathy may wish to consider memorials to “Family Wishes.”

     Bonnie’s family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at Bay Shores Nursing Care Center and Bay Special Care Rehabilitation for their kind and compassionate care they gave mom over the past few years.
