Lindauer, William E.
Bay City, Michigan
Our brother, uncle, and cousin passed away at his residence in Maplewood Manor on Tuesday, November 20, 2018. Age 75 years. The son of the late Robert R. and Lillian J. (DeWyse) Lindauer was born on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1942, in Bay City, Michigan. William proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. In his free time he enjoyed reading and playing on his computer. William was very well liked by all of the residents at Maplewood Manor, and he will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish his memories are his four siblings, Roberta Lindauer, Mary Jo (Ronald) Gobeski, Kay (Roger) Schuch, and Gerald A. Lindauer; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. William was preceded in death by his parents, Robert R. and Lillian J. (DeWyse) Lindauer.
The family of William would like to thank the staff and residents at the Maplewood Manor for the care and compassion given to their brother for the numerous years he resided there.
At the request of William cremation has taken place and there will be a private family Memorial Service. Military Honors Service and interment will be scheduled to take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in the near future. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the “Wishes of the Family”. www.ambrosefuneralchapel.com
