Thomas G. Parker
Bay City, Michigan
Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Bay County Medical Care Facility, age 70. Tom was born June 9, 1947 in Bay City to the late George Thomas and Lida (Fenska) Parker. He met the love of his life, Theresa A. Kukla on a blind date and they married on May 23, 1970 in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. Theresa survives him. Tom retired from Community Hospital Services with over 33 years of dedicated service and was a life member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish-St. Stanislaus Church. He was a devoted family man and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Tom enjoyed fishing and always looked forward to going on the annual family vacation to keep the family bond tight and memorable.
Surviving besides his wife of 47 years Theresa are two daughters, Virginia (John) O’Keeffe and Sarah "Charlie" (Kevin) MacDonald, four grandchildren: Aaron (fiance Sarah) O’Keeffe, Alisha O’Keeffe, Jacob and Conner MacDonald, two great grandchildren, Eric and Elizabeth O’Keeffe, one sister Kathleen Diskey, three brothers: Richard (Bonnie) Parker, Allan (Ann) Parker and Kirk (Amy) Parker, in-laws: Delores Chomas, Thomas (Eileen) Kukla, Christine Bosley, Joseph (Joanne) Kukla and Vincent Adamski. Tom was predeceased by a sister Lynn (Harold) Cederberg, one sister in-law Geraldine Adamski and two brothers in-law, Pete Chomas and Albert Bosley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, February 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish-St. Stanislaus Church, 1503 Kosciuszko Ave., Bay City, MI 48708. Fr. Rick Filary will celebrate Mass. Friends may call at the Ambrose Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at church on Friday after 9:00 a.m. A Parish Vigil Service for Tom will be held Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
