Sharon L. Bidwell, age 74, passed away peacefully the morning of June 22, 2019 at Ascension of St. Mary’s, Saginaw. She was born on October 12, 1944 in Flint, Michigan to the late Kenneth C. Walker and Violet M. Baker. Sharon was a strong, independent, and courageous woman all throughout her illness. She was a giving person who enjoyed music, singing, putting puzzles together, playing cards, and watching old movies. She enjoyed listening to others while they read to her, most especially stories from the Bible.
Living to cherish her memory are her children: Lynn (Joseph) Carlisle, Carl Newnham, William Newnham, Shannon Albrant, an honorary daughter, Tonya Carlisle; her grandchildren: Joshua, Nicole (James), Brittney, Bethany, John, Mysha, Rebecca, Jennifer, Leo Jr., Christopher, and Adrianna; eight great-grandchildren and two brothers, James and Edward Walker. Besides her parents, Sharon was welcomed home to Heaven by her great-grandson Elijah, and her sister, Nellie Walker.
Cremation will take place and there will be no services at Squires Funeral Home. A Celebration of Sharon’s Life is being planned by her family for a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the “Wishes of the Family”.
