Trombley, Ronald G.
Our loving father and grandfather passed away peacefully in the early evening hours of Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at the Toni and Trish House in Auburn, Michigan. Age 84 years. Ronald was born on March 11, 1935 in Bay City, Michigan to the late William and Lucy Trombley. Ronald’s first marriage was to JoAnn Downey, and she blessed him with three boys. On May 14, 1983 Ronald married the late Dolores M. Drzewicki, and she preceded him in death on June 4, 2018. After many years of service, Ronald retired for General Motors Corp. in 1986. While working and after retirement, Ronald owned his own saw sharpening business. He was a longtime member of All Saints Parish – St. James Church; where he ushered regularly. He loved to go camping and play cards with his friends. Ronald was also an avid woodworker. Something not many people know about Ronald is that he was a very skilled musician; playing the drums for the “Don Buchanan Band”. Above all, nothing meant more to Ronald then the time he was able to spend with his family.
Left to cherish his memories are his four children, Timothy (Dawn) Trombley, Greg Trombley, Marisue (Gary) Mueller, and Todd Drzewicki; daughter-in-law, Ann Drzewicki; seven grandchildren, Erin (Ted) Berryhill, April (Dan) Murphy, Eric (Emily) Drzewicki, Brooke Drzewicki, Alyssa Jaskiewicz, Scott (Becky) Mueller, and Amber Trombley; four great-grandchildren, Ethan, Mackenzie, Aria, and Piper; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Ronald is preceded in death by his wife, Dolores M. Trombley; son, Kenneth Trombley; step-sons, David Drzewicki and Michael Drzewicki; parents, William and Lucy Trombley; and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
