McCamey, Mary A. (Tews)
Bay City, Michigan
Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister passed away with her family by her side at the Toni and Trish House in Auburn, Michigan in the afternoon hours of Wednesday, March 6, 2019. Age 57 years. Mary was born in Bay City, Michigan on May 12, 1961 to the late John and Elaine (Pasant) Tews. On September 13, 1997 she married her beloved husband, Michael D. McCamey, and he survives her. For numerous years, Mary has been a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish – St. Mary’s Church. Some of her favorite activities were gardening, camping, and traveling. Her favorite destination to visit was Myrtle Beach. Mary’s biggest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren; who will always remember her by “Gee”. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memories is her husband, Michael D. McCamey; children, Alexandrea (fiancé, Derrick Vickers) Yule and Christian (fiancé, Allison Price) Yule; grandchildren, Mason and Gracie; siblings, John “Jack” (Linda) Tews, Diane Pudlo, Mike Tews, Sue (Pat) Schneider; sisters-in-law, Cindy (Dave) Lomba and Lisa (Don) Schneider; her dog, Macy; grand-dogs, Cooper and Sarge; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Elaine (Pasant) Tews; brother, Steve Tews; and brother-in-law; John Pudlo.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the McLaren Bay Region Hospital, especially her angel nurse Abbie, the staff at the Toni and Trish House, her dearest friend, Shelley Szczepanski; and her two nieces, Lindie Schneider and Bridgette Schrock for the care and compassion that they provided to Mary and her family.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Peace Parish – St. Mary’s Church, 607 E. South Union Street, Bay City, MI 48706. Fr. George Serour will celebrate Mass. Friends may call at Squires Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2:00 to 7:00 PM and at church on Wednesday after 9:00 AM. A Parish Vigil Service for Mary will be held Tuesday at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
