     Madeline passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017 at McLaren Bay Region, age 78.  She was born July 3, 1939 in Bay City to the late Ambrose and Lucille (Skrzypczak) DeWyse.  Madeline married Gary C. Oberdorf on July 4, 1959 and he survives her.  She retired from the US Postal Service in 1982 as a rural carrier in Bay City and was a life long member of All Saints Parish-St. James Church.  Madeline enjoyed trying her luck at casinos and spending time with her family.

     Surviving besides her husband Gary is a son David (Heather) Oberdorf and a daughter Mary (Jon) Dietz, four grandchildren: Jonathon and Haley Dietz, Davis and Hunter Oberdorf, sisters and brothers: Nancy (Jack) Rosekrans, James DeWyse, Jackie DeWyse, Barbara (Jerome) Madajski, and Joyce (Jim) Igaz, two brothers in-law, Karl (Joannie) Oberdorf and Paul Oberdorf and two sisters in-law, Midge DeWyse and Sandra Fisher, many nieces and nephews.  Madeline was predeceased by her step mother, Rita DeWyse, two brothers, Michael and Andy DeWyse and her in-laws: Sherry DeWyse, Barbara Oberdorf, Irene Oberdorf, Renee Oberdorf and Ralph (Patricia) Oberdorf.

     The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. at All Saints Parish-St. James Church.  Fr. Jose Maria Cabrera will celebrate Mass.  Friends may call at the Ambrose Funeral Home on Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. and at church on Tuesday after 2:00 P.M.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to All Saints Parish.  www.ambrosefuneralchapel.com
