Garnett, Kathleen M.

Saginaw, Michigan formally of Bay City, Michigan

Our loving aunt passed away in the morning hours of Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 71 years. Kathleen was born on January 15, 1947 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Russell and Marie A. (Somalski) Garnett. After living in Bay City most of her life she later moved to Saginaw. She worked at Medical Art’s 2, and spent over 50 years working for Dr. Malcolm Field as an office manager. Kathleen was a very supportive football fan for both the University of Michigan and the New England Patriots. Her biggest passion in life was loving and caring for animals; whether it be her own or charitable organization caring for animals she had never met. Kathleen was an avid reader, gardener, and enjoyed playing slots at her favorite casinos.

Left to cherish her memories are her two loving companions – fur children, Sweetie and Lilly; nieces and nephews, Mark (Val) DeLadurantaye, Mary (Chris) Neville, Mike DeLadurantaye, Dale DeLadurantaye, and numerous others; great-nephews, Kyle Neville, Billy Neville, Jean-Luc DeLadurantaye, and Andre DeLadurantaye; and one great-great-nephew, Asher Neville. She is welcomed into Heaven’s Gate’s by her parents, Russell and Marie A. (Somalski) Garnett; one sister, Jacqueline (Kenneth) DeLadurantaye; and four brothers, Kenneth Garnett, Gerald Garnett, James (Florence) Garnett, and Robert Garnett.
