Burzynski, Jerome Stephen “Jerry”
Our loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away peacefully at the Carriage House of Bay City on Wednesday, November 21, 2018. Age 80 years. Jerry was born in Bay City, Michigan to the late Frank A. and Theresa (Talaga) Burzynski on September 7, 1938. On June 5, 1978 he married his loving wife, Mary MacGregor, and they continued to live in the Bay City area. Jerry retired from General Motors as a millwright after thirty-four and a half years. He was a very talented musician and spent numerous years as a Boy Scout. One of Jerry’s biggest joys in life was fishing. He caught many fish from the Great Lakes, Canada, and even waters around Florida over the years. He will be well remembered for his ability to play Pool. “Jerry always saw the beauty in nature”, whether it be the changing colors of leave in the fall time or the trickling of a river as he passed by. Although he had many joys in his life, nothing meant more to him then his family.
Left to cherish his memories is his wife, Mary Burzynski; four children, Mark (Christine) Burzynski, Scott Burzynski, Jackie Rhea, and Jerome Thomas (Jessie) Burzynski; four grandchildren, Brooke Ann Burzynski, Jacob Tyler Rhea, Tori Lynn Burzynski, and Angel Celeste Burzynski; and one sister, Jeannette Anvia. Jerry is welcomed into Heaven’s Gate’s by his parents, Frank A. and Theresa (Talaga) Burzynski; sister, Eleanor VanHorn; and two brothers-in-law, Floyd VanHorn and Thomas Anvia.
