          Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle went to be with the Lord in the early afternoon hours of Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the McLaren Bay Region Hospital in Bay City, Michigan. Age 92 years. Felix was born on May 22, 1927 to the late Stanley and Mary (Reder) Adamczyk. At a young age, Felix proudly served for his country as a member of the United States Army. On May 28, 1960 at St. Stanislaus Church, Felix married the love of his life, Rita E. Zielinski, and she survives him. He was a longtime member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish. For numerous years, Felix was the owner and operator of the service station, Phil’s Bay Service. Felix will always be remembered by his family as a jokester. In his spare time Felix enjoyed taking a drive around town. Nothing meant more to him than the time he was able to spend with his family.


          Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 59 years, Rita E. Adamczyk; children, Ronald Adamczyk, Donald Adamczyk, Connie Adamczyk, Christopher (Mary Ann) Adamczyk, Annie (George) Kontes, and Marty Adamczyk; grandchildren, Christopher Adamczyk, Nicholas Kontes, and Zachary Kontes; his fur baby, Sister; one sister, Rose Kanicki, brother-in-law, Jack Rezler; and numerous nieces and nephews. After a period of separation, Felix is finally reunited with his parents, Stanley and Mary (Reder) Adamczyk; and siblings, John (Monica) Adamczyk, Frank (Elenor) Adamczyk, Aloysius (Marilyn) Adamczyk, Anthony (Delores) Adamczyk, Lenard (JoAnn) Adamczyk, Casey Adamczyk, Leo Adamczyk, Joseph Adamczyk, Verna Harborne, and Josie Rezler.


          The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish – St. Stanislaus Church. Celebrant will be Fr. Rick Filary. Visitation will take place on Friday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Immediately following Mass, family and friends will travel to the St. Stanislaus Mausoleum for Committal Prayers and Military Honors.
