David M. Halm
David went home to be with his Lord and Savior unexpectedly Saturday, March 17, 2018, age 73. He was born January 23, 1945 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late P. and Helen (Hibner) Halm. He married Janice L. Hubbard on December 21, 1982 and she survives him. David retired from Saginaw Steering Gear with over 40 years of dedicated service. He was a hardworking family man and enjoyed helping others. His Christian belief and helping hands often found him doing missionary work in places like Jamaica where he built homes and churches. He also sponsored or mentored several individuals with their trials and tribulations throughout the years. David had a great sense of humor, up-beat and positive personality. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, spending as much time with them as he could. He also had a passion for restoring cars.
Surviving is his wife Janice, one daughter Kimber (Aaron) Perkins, three grandchildren: Madalyn, Cassidy and Caleb, one sister Lucy (George) Fisher.
Per David’s request, cremation will take place. No services or visitation will be held at Squires Funeral Home. A memorial celebrations will be scheduled at a later date.
