Betty passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018, surrounded by her loving family, at the home of her daughter, Patricia and son in-law Ken, who lovingly cared for her. The daughter of Evelyn and Edmund Charbonneau, she was born December 30, 1932 in Bay City, and was able to spend her 85th Birthday with all her family at her side.
Betty, was born and raised, in Bay City, and during her time here, she worked for Terry & Jerry's O' Sole Mio, for over 15 years, and made many lifelong friends. She loved life, and made her way to Florida, where she enjoyed the warmth of the Florida sun for 35 years. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, who loved her very much, and will miss her dearly. While living in Florida she spent her time working in Property Management, with her Husband, Dick Boyce, in Fort Myers & Cape Coral, for over 25 years. Betty was a member of the Bay City Elks Club for many years and Women's Auxiliary Club in Cape Coral, Florida.
Betty is survived by her children: Bonnie (Phil) Burzynski, Colleen (Arthur) Dore, Mary (Andy) McGuire-Kolak, Kathleen (Darryle) King-Goode, Patricia (Kenneth) Leppek, Micki McGuire and Edward (Robyn) Nowak, eight grandchildren: Arthur N. Dore, Dakota Dore, Chase (Lori) Dore, Eric (Brooke) Boyle, Ashlee Taylor, Demarcus King, Alexa King, Jaxxson Nowak, six great grand children: Charlotte Dore, Boston Boyle, Easton Boyle, Dalia Boyle, Kobi King and Amyiah King, brothers and sisters: Joyce (Roy) King, Patricia Chartier, Debra Finn, Richard Charbonneau and Gerald Charbonneau. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Richard Boyce, parents, Evelyn and Edmund Charbonneau, son, Daniel McGuire, grandson, Robert C. Dore, great grandson, Demarcus King Jr., one brother Tim Charbonneau and a nephew, William J. Finn.
The Funeral Service for Betty will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Squires Funeral Home. Linda Studniarz will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
