Dutsky, Betty Loucile
Alger, Michigan formerly of Bay City, Michigan
Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt passed away peacefully in the evening hours of Monday, September 9, 2019 at the Bay Shores Nursing Care Center in Bay City, Michigan. Age 85 years. Betty was born on January 31, 1934 in Bay City to the late Emmett and Lydia (Williams) Bradley. In Bay City on November 11, 1949, Betty married the love of her life, Edwin Dutsky Sr., and he preceded her in death on November 11, 1974. For several years, Betty was a member and regularly attended services at the Alger Baptist Church. Some of her favorite hobbies included; knitting, ceramics, crocheting, and reading. Betty always bragged about how she was a belly dancer back in her “Hay-Day”. Her family will always remember the goofy things she would try. One example is when her kids took her tubing being the boat. One of her most favorite joys in life was nature. She loved spending time taking walks through the woods and being outdoors. She enjoyed spending time with her family at various different family gatherings. Betty’s family and friends are going to miss her dearly.
Left to cherish her memories are her two sons, Edwin E. Jr. (Wendy Jo.) Dutsky and Gary Dutsky; four grandchildren, Amy (Lou) Gonzales, Alex (Nicole) Dutsky, Benjamin Dutsky, and Jason Allen (Kristin) Dutsky; seven great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Jerry (Maria) Bradley and Mary Bradley; and numerous nieces and nephews. After a period of separation, Betty is finally reunited with her husband, Edwin Dutsky Sr.; parents, Emmett and Lydia (Williams) Bradley; and many brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
